​A new role is now available for a Risk and Compliance Advisor to join a small team within an established Professional Services firm situated right in the heart of Wiltshire. If you are from Financial Services, Insurance or another sector and have 2-3 years experience of working in a Risk, Compliance, Claims environment this could be the next step for you!

About the role: You will supervise a team of four Administrators and support with day to day duties as well as managing your own workload. It will be your role to report into the Team Manager, an approachable and team focused leader.

The role is made up primarily of training the wider business personnel on key Compliance and Regulatory updates, file opening, Anti-Money Laundering requirements and being a good supportive senior team player to the rest of the team.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in analysing, administering, and processing claims and complaints.

  • Develop and deliver regulatory training for new and existing staff.

  • Assist with internal audits and reviews.

  • Update and review regulatory policies.

  • Maintain databases for claims and complaints and generate reports for senior management.

  • Coordinate with third parties on cases

  • Provide guidance on internal regulatory queries and support onboarding.

  • Assess and update internal policies based on regulatory changes.

  • Take on additional projects as needed.

Skills and experiences we are looking for include:

  • Some experience in a role related to Risk/Audit/Compliance of any sector

  • Reviewing and advising on risk and compliance policies

  • A positive, friendly nature to build relations with and supervise a team

  • Designing, developing, and delivering internal regulatory training.

  • Undertaking internal regulatory audits.

  • Familiarity with anti money laundering

  • Ability to support and assist in the development of more junior members of the Risk & Best Practice team.

  • Ability to communicate effectively across all parts of the firm.

  • Good time management skills

  • A flexible and proactive approach with a 'can do' attitude.
