​We are excited to be working with our client, a growing and established company, to recruit a talented Finance Manager to lead their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage day-to-day operations while providing vital support to the Financial Controller in a busy, professional environment.

About the Role:
As the Finance Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the finance accounts team, ensuring the timely and accurate production of management information, statutory accounts, and budgets. You’ll work closely with senior leadership, managing financial processes, audits, and compliance while helping drive the business forward. From annual budgeting to team development, you’ll have the chance to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the finance accounts team, ensuring smooth and compliant daily operations.

  • Produce accurate management accounts, year-end reports, and financial documentation.

  • Manage the preparation of budgets and quarterly reforecasts.

  • Provide timely financial reports and insights to senior leadership.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with third parties such as auditors, insurers, and banks.

  • Oversee audits, reconciliations, and other financial tasks, ensuring all processes are efficient and compliant.

  • Motivate, train, and develop the finance team, contributing to a positive and productive working environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Ideally 5+ years of experience in a finance environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

  • Strong experience in management accounts, budgeting, and audits.

  • Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

  • Ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and ensure accuracy under pressure.
