Are you a dynamic Health & Safety professional looking to take your career to the next level? We're offering an incredible opportunity to lead and shape the Health & Safety function for a forward-thinking manufacturing company within the construction industry. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about ensuring the well-being of employees both on-site and in the office, this role could be your perfect fit.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead Health & Safety across diverse settings: from office environments to active construction sites and production floors.

  • Work closely with Site Managers to support and guide them in maintaining a safe and compliant environment, with around 20% of your time spent on-site.

  • Ensure compliance and best practices in Health & Safety for the group, overseeing the entire spectrum—from office staff to production teams.

  • Visit sites as needed to perform audits, risk assessments, and offer hands-on advice to site teams.

  • Shape and influence Health & Safety culture across the organization, ensuring high standards are met and exceeded.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and mentor staff on Health & Safety protocols, fostering a collaborative and proactive safety culture.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong experience in Health & Safety, ideally in construction or manufacturing (broader backgrounds are highly valued).

  • Knowledge of office-based Health & Safety, in addition to site and production environments.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and influence teams at all levels.

  • Enthusiasm for visiting sites and getting hands-on where necessary.

  • NEBOSH certification or equivalent, with a commitment to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.

Why This Role?

  • Work for a company with a strong track record in both construction and manufacturing, with a broad and exciting range of responsibilities.

  • Enjoy a dynamic work environment, splitting your time between the office and occasional site visits.

  • Join a business that values Health & Safety at its core, with a collaborative and supportive culture.

  • Competitive salary of £50k (c) and a chance to make a meaningful impact on a growing organization.

If you're looking for a broad, varied role in Health & Safety with real responsibility and the opportunity to make a difference, we'd love to hear from you - Contact Louise today to apply.
