About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Legal Secretary to join our growing Team in Salisbury. This is a fantastic opportunity to become an integral part of a professional yet friendly environment, where you will play a key role in supporting various teams within the company
Key Responsibilities:
Audio Typing & Document Preparation:Accurately transcribing legal documents and correspondence from audio dictation, ensuring all documentation is of the highest standard and prepared within agreed deadlines.
File Management:Maintaining and organising both physical and digital files in line with company policies, ensuring easy accessibility and secure record keeping.
Client Care:Acting as a first point of contact for clients, providing a professional and welcoming service whether via phone, email, or in-person. Ensuring client queries are handled efficiently and with a personal touch.
Diary Management:Scheduling appointments, meetings, and managing the legal team’s diaries, ensuring that deadlines are met and client expectations are managed.
Administrative Support:Handling various administrative duties including preparing invoices, tracking expenses, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
What We Are Looking For:
Previous legal secretarial experience, ideally within the Private Client sector (e.g., Wills, Probate, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Estate Administration).
Organisational Excellence:Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy and demanding environment while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Interpersonal Skills:Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach, with the ability to build positive relationships with both colleagues and clients.
Client Service Delivery:Commitment to delivering an exceptional client experience, displaying professionalism, and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Proactive & Professional:Logical and proactive in your approach, with the ability to anticipate needs and work with minimal supervision when required.
