About the Role
We are looking for a Customer Support & Logistics Coordinator to join our team on a part-time, flexible basis. This role involves a mix of customer service, administration, and logistics coordination, ensuring that orders are processed efficiently and shipments are handled smoothly. You’ll work closely with sales engineers, suppliers, and couriers, keeping everything running seamlessly while delivering excellent service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Order Processing – Raise and progress purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in pricing and specifications.
Customer Communication – Keep customers informed about order updates, expected delivery dates, and any changes.
Supplier Liaison & Negotiation – Work with suppliers to track orders, negotiate discounts, and ensure efficient purchasing.
Logistics Coordination – Arrange shipments with couriers and shipping agents, consolidating orders where possible to improve efficiency.
Stock & Records Management – Keep CRM systems and internal records up to date, including purchase orders, delivery notes, and calibration certificates.
Quality & Compliance – Work within a Quality Management System and ensure stock checks and shipments are handled correctly.
Administrative Support – Take credit card payments, organise filing systems, and cover for colleagues when needed.
