As a Quality Engineer, you will support the quality team and collaborate with various departments to uphold our high standards and meet business needs. Your main responsibilities include maintaining the ISO9001 QMS, ensuring product and process quality, and addressing customer and supplier issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle customer warranty calls and emails, guiding the administrator in processing paperwork.
Support the Service and Customer Support Manager with customer queries related to installation, commissioning, and fault finding.
Investigate non-conformances using tools like 8D, 5Y, and Ishikawa, and identify trends in NCRs.
Conduct internal system audits and product audits as required.
Manage calibration processes and maintain accurate quality documentation.
Review and present statistical quality data to management.
Inspect supplied, returned, and manufactured products, ensuring they meet agreed criteria.
Collaborate with suppliers to improve product quality.
Train and mentor quality team members on systems and processes.
Visit customers and suppliers as needed to ensure quality standards are met.
Continuously develop your understanding of ISO 9001 and customer requirements.
