Join a small, friendly team as a Stock Controller at a local Manufacturing company in Salisbury. This role offers variety, with two busy days unloading air freight and handling stock, while the rest of the week involves a mix of tasks, including supporting production and assisting with general duties. We’re looking for someone with good computer skills, a positive attitude, and a hands-on approach. If you're not afraid of hard work and enjoy staying active in a dynamic environment, this is a great opportunity to contribute to a growing team and enjoy varied, rewarding work. Great hours too, 8am - 4pm Mon-Fri.

Stock Controller Responsibilities:

  • Receiving Deliveries: Unload and unpack shipments, including airfreight. Check that the quantity and quality match the delivery paperwork and report any issues.

  • Labeling and Recording: Use a barcode scanner to receive goods, print labels, and update the ERP system electronically.

  • Storing Goods: Safely store items in the correct locations and perform daily forklift checks, reporting any problems.

  • Keeping Things Organized: Make sure everything is in the right place, labeled properly, and rotated using the FIFO method. Keep the storage area clean and tidy.

  • Packing and Shipping: Pack production parts, ensure paperwork is correct, and load shipments following Health & Safety rules.

We are looking for the right person and whilst some previous stock controlling or warehouse experience is ideal, we would also take on board the right person with all the correct attributes.

  • Not afraid of hard work

  • A Team player

  • Willingness to 'muck in'

  • Likes to be busy

  • Good computer skills

To apply, please send your contact details into Sam today. Interviews are due to take place from the week of 21st October.
